My friends Matlida and Leo made a childrens book for their final project in school, they asked me to illustrate it and I did :D
Today I got a sample of the finished book and It looks pretty cool :boogie:

The illustrations in it are very simple because there were around 60 of them and if I had made them more detailed they would not have been done in time.

Anyway, I thought I'd share the cover with you :D
I was very much inspired by the Swedish comicbook artist Rune Andréasson. Me and my siblings grew up reading BAMSE and something I always loved in the pictures was how the trees in magical forests looked as if they had faces and expressions, I wanted to do the same here to get that same feeling of magic wonder and alittlebit of danger luring behind the corner ;)

Not sure if the yellow and red mushrooms fit in with the rest of it. On their own they would be awesome, but they look slightly lurid against the rest of it.

However, I can't be any more mean than that, I like the wolf's expression, and the malevolent trees. They look like they're about to swing out their branches and whomp somebody. :)
